Pollen analysis of the profile from the pile dwelling Hočevarica
(Palinološke raziskave profila s kolišča Hočevarica)
Abstract
Pollen analyses of the north profile from the eneolithic pile dwelling Hočevarica on the Ljubljana Moor are presented in this work. The pollen content of the cultural layer reflects strong anthropozoogenic influence on vegetation. Large amount of cereal pollen suggests that agriculture was highly developed during the settlement period.
