New knowledge about the settlement situation on the western part of Dravsko polje
(Das neue Bild der prähistorischen Besiedlung am östlichen Rand des Draufeldes)

Abstract

This article presents new knowledge about the settlement situation in part of eastern Slovenia and the formation of cultures there in all prehistoric periods. New research has aided in the realization that the southeastern Alpine region was densely settled in the Bronze Age, and was culturally connected with western Trans-Danubia, the area between the Sava and Drava Rivers, and eastern Austria.
