Traces of Late La Tène settlement at Ormož
(Spuren spätlatènezeitlicher Besiedlung in Ormož)

Abstract

In the article the remains are presented of ten Late La Tène kilns that were dug into the rampart of the abandoned settlement from the Late Bronze Age. No other structural remains from the La Tène period were discovered because of the destruction of the uppermost strata. The settlement of present day Ormož at the end of the Late Iron Age (phase Mokronog IIIa) is proven primarily by small finds (fragments of domestic pottery and a Nauheim type fibula).
