New discovery of a prehistoric dwelling below the hillfort of Sv. Marjeta on Libna
Abstract
The area of the previously known hillfort from the Iron Age at Sv. Marjeta on Libna near Krško was again archaeologically investigated in 2001. More precisely, excavations were conducted on the southeastern slope, where traces were revealed of a prehistoric dwelling. These advance our knowledge of one of the more important prehistoric sites in Posavje (Sava River valley), Slovenia.
